SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL continues this Sunday and Sunday, August 20. All classes meet at 9:45AM. Preschool through rising fourth graders—classroom across from the library upstairs; rising 5th graders through rising 8th graders—Bell Choir room, taught by Olivia Russell; high school—classroom above Memorial Hall, taught by John Kimball and Lynn Welch.

SUNDAY SCHOOL RALLY DAY, August 27, will mark the beginning of the Fall program.  Everyone will meet in the Sanctuary at 9:45AM, then proceed to their respective classes. Please consider being a teacher for a Sunday school class, or be a substitute.  Teaching Sunday school is a great way to share with others, especially to meet and get to know the young people of our church. Teaching does not require any special training, and class material will be provided.  To discuss teaching possibilities and have your questions answered, please contact John Kimball (, 615-496-1902).

MERCY FRANKLIN CLASSIC:  Join our HFPC team to participate in a 1K, 5K or 10K run/walk in downtown Franklin on Monday, September 4 (Labor Day).  If running or walking isn’t your “thing” you can also sign up to volunteer on race day.  There is a sign-up sheet in Memorial Hall if you're interested in walking in a group.  Register and pay on the website:

GARDEN GIFTS: Are you harvesting more from your garden than your family can eat? Bring your produce each Sunday to share with the congregation and any leftovers will be taken to GraceWorks.
